Baxter Isamu Table Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni

Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for the brand Baxter, the Isamu dining table interprets wood as a plastic material, able to shape sculptural geometries through a single element. The structure, made entirely of solid wood, is available in three variants: Natural Sandblasted Matt Ash, Black Lacquered Sandblasted Matt Ash, and Matt Mexican Granadillo.

The four legs with an ellipsoidal section are the project’s defining feature: they rise from the floor and extend upward until they meet the tabletop, marking its surface visually. The connection between base and top is distinct yet continuous, balancing strength and fluidity in the table’s silhouette. Proportions are carefully studied to ensure stability and comfort without weighing down the overall composition.

Offered in two sizes, the Isamu table integrates easily into domestic or formal spaces, bringing with it a sense of solid essentiality. The design is reduced to what is necessary, with each detail measured to enhance the material without decorative excess.
