Normann Copenhagen Join Sculpture Designed by Yuchen Wu

Join Sculpture by Normann Copenhagen is a reflection on the dialogue between form, balance and material.

Inspired by traditional wood joints in carpentry, this collection explores the visual potential of where one element meets another, transforming construction technique into formal expression. Composed of three sculptures of different sizes, each composition reveals a novel combination of volumes and joints that defy gravity, suggesting lightness and movement. Straight lines and circular components alternate according to a cubist logic, resulting in objects that change perspective depending on the angle from which they are viewed. The ability to rotate and reposition each element further enriches the visual experience, opening up to ever new interpretations. Made of certified ash wood, the sculptures highlight the material through the juxtaposition of natural finish and charred ash. The result is a material and color balance that enhances the identity of the wood while maintaining its vitality. Designed for different environments, the Join sculpture lends itself to placement on shelves, tables or pedestals, introducing a sculptural and contemporary note into the domestic or professional space. An object that invites observation and reinterpretation of everyday life.
