Secolo Kara Console Designed by Artefatto Design Studio

The Kara console, designed by Artefatto Design Studio for Secolo, is based on the idea of irregularity as a generative principle. The top, with its free and asymmetrical shape, determines and guides the legs, which follow its outline and define a coherent, deliberate balance. Structure and surface form a unified whole, where each element contributes to a compact composition without any hierarchy between support and surface.

The top is available in extra-clear mirrored glass, precisely cut to emphasise its distinctive contour. The structure is made of lacquered MDF, offered in matte or gloss finish and in any RAL colour from the Secolo catalogue. The production involves machine cutting, hand assembly, pore sealing and sandblasting before lacquering. The legs are fully integrated into the body of the console, creating a visually continuous volume.

The piece is delivered fully assembled and comes with felt glides. Every detail reflects an approach that embraces imperfection as a constructive feature, avoiding decorative excess or predictable geometries.
