Kashima armchair is part of the re-edition of the historic collection of upholstered furniture designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1976. A piece of furniture with a charm that has remained unchanged over time.

Kashima takes free inspiration from the name of the eponymous Japanese city, imaginative and colorful. The re-edition pays homage to the 70s and 80s, a period of great transformation in the field of art and design, giving new life to a style that remains as current today as it was decades ago. The entire collection is made entirely of foam with unique comfort with fully quilted upholstery and features "pinched" seams at the corners, reinforced by internal laces. The nest shape of the seat allows the user to sit, nestled at the sides. The buttoning is then made with invisible tie rods, inserted inside the foam.
