Glas Italia Kazimir Shelf Designed by Michael Anastassiades Designer

Kazimir Shelf is part of a collection presented by Glas Italia at Salone del Mobile 2024, born of the creative flair of designer Michael Anastassiades, which also includes a console and a low table.

Kazimir Shelf is available in different sizes and compositions. The creation of each piece is done through the use of a special 10 mm tempered double-sided etched green crystal or 6+6 mm laminated extralight etched double-sided crystal, whose sheets are placed side by side, interlocked and juxtaposed to create a composition with a constructivist flavor reminiscent of 20th-century abstract paintings. Each item is presented as a harmonious composition of elegantly overlapping crystal modules joined together using the UV bonding technique. This process reflects extreme formal rigor and makes it possible to create authentic sculptural furnishings. The shelves, then, propose an interesting play of perspectives, as they can be hung upside down. Kazimir is a collection perfect for living but ideal for making any room into a sophisticated and unique place.
