Coming Soon - New Salone del Mobile 2025Klotski, designed by Michael Anastassiades for Tacchini and presented at Salone del Mobile 2025, is a chair that exalts simplicity as a form of design elegance. Inspired by traditional sliding puzzles, its name recalls a game of logical and geometric joints that is reflected in the very construction of the object.
Klotski is the result of a profound reflection on essentiality: its pure lines, balance between rigor and comfort, and meticulous attention to detail result in a seat that is as functional as it is refined. The backrest, slightly inclined and curved at the top, appears to be suspended. This armless version is stackable and more compact. Klotski enjoys great same expressive force despite its minimal style, varying on the theme only with a thin wooden frame that accommodates the seat upholstery. Beneath its apparent simplicity lies a precise and articulate construction designed for strength and comfort. Klotski is more than a chair: it is an everyday gesture transformed into an experience, where each element finds its place in a perfect interplay.
Available in natural cherry - warm and welcoming - or in a sophisticated dark green matte lacquer finish, Klotski is suitable for a variety of environments, from contract to home living, bringing with it a sense of timeless balance and beauty.

Michael Anastassiades is a Cypriot designer who founded his studio in 1994 in London to explore the contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of products, furniture and environmental design. His creations are at the crossroad between industrial design and decorative art and are meant to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction with those who come in close contact whith them. Especially well known for his lighting production, Anastassiades combines simple geometric shapes such as tubes, oblongs and spheres with shiny surfaces and reflective materials, such as mirrored glass and polished bronze. His lights decorate hotels, restaurants and stores worldwide.
Tacchini exudes beauty, quality and style in the name of Italian design with a rich and ongoing furniture production. Among great classics, new arrivals and successful products, the catalog features sofas, armchairs, poufs, chairs and modular systems, including Tacchini Edizioni, an exclusive line of coffee tables, rugs, vases and accessories.
