Nanimarquina Knitted Natural Rug - 200x300 cm

Knitted is a hand-spun jute rug designed by Ariadna Miquel for Nanimarquina, made according to the artisanal technique of soumak, an oriental workmanship similar to kilim. The collection expresses a simple and natural aesthetic, designed for those who prefer essential and cozy environments, with a strong connection to natural materials and objects handcrafted according to tradition.

The fiber used is 100 percent hand-spun jute, one of the strongest of all plant fibers, also known as "gold fiber" for its natural luster. Totally biodegradable and recyclable, jute is distinguished by its anti-static and insulating properties, making the rug strong, durable and suitable even for lived-in spaces.

The woven pattern and irregular shades of the natural fiber give the rug a soft, warm and textural texture, perfect for enhancing rustic, minimalist or contemporary environments.
