Lapse 2 is an original rug designed by Duccio Maria Gambi for the cc-tapis brand. Entirely handmade from 100% Himalayan wool. This version is offered in the size 230x300 cm.

The Tempore Collection - which includes the Lapse 2 rug - created by the talented Italian designer draws its inspiration from the real and metaphorical concept of time, that short or long period in which the nature of each element emerges and dissolves, changes and renews itself, and where rules are respected and altered.

The canvas then becomes a sheet to be filled in, the oil pastels create imprecise and almost wild movements, while, the precise and continuous stroke seems to have been outlined by a biro. Material, chromatic, rational, and irrational overlaps create a rug with a strong visual impact, like a distant mirage that needs careful focusing to discern what it conceals.
