Leplì Bench

Leplì, a three-piece collection by Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro for Poltrona Frau, seamlessly blends fashion and design. This dynamic series is defined by sinuous lines and refined tailoring-inspired details, combining practicality with elegance. The bench is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or fabric and features an elongated shape, making it a versatile addition as a pouf or footstool.

The Leplì Bench is crafted with a birch plywood frame, solid beech uprights, and kraft cardboard padding. Its base is made from poplar plywood with a scratch-resistant black-painted MDF finish and is equipped with a shaped protective felt pad for added durability. Available in two finishes—Pelle Frau® leather or fabric—the fabric version is enhanced by a leather decorative band along the bottom.

Comfortable and inviting, the Leplì Collection is designed to suit any style, bringing timeless sophistication to any space.

Designed by Kensaku Oshiro

The Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro was born in 1977, and graduated from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan at the end of the XXth century. After experiencing his talent in several studios, in 2004 Oshiro started working for Lissoni Associati until 2012, when he moved to London. Among his most successful creations, the Arabesque line and the Leplì collection designed in collaboration with the leading brand Poltrona Frau.
