Leplì Outdoor, designed by Kensaku Oshiro for Poltrona Frau, is a sophisticated collection of poufs that blends timeless elegance with contemporary functionality. The series includes three models, each featuring a finely embossed, epoxy powder-coated aluminum structure. The perimeter frame is adorned with a hand-woven 4-mm polypropylene cord in a distinctive checked pattern, available in three refined finishes: rust, ecru, and taupe.

Originally an iconic indoor piece from Poltrona Frau’s catalog, the Leplì Pouf has been reinterpreted for outdoor use, embracing an all-new, lightweight design that reflects modern aesthetic trends. Retaining its signature sinuous and soft silhouette—a tribute to feminine grace—the outdoor version is enhanced by a hand-woven polypropylene rope detail. This intricate weave transitions from an open, transparent design at the base to a denser pattern at the seating surface, where elastic belt springs are subtly concealed to ensure comfort and durability.

Designed by Kensaku Oshiro

The Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro was born in 1977, and graduated from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan at the end of the XXth century. After experiencing his talent in several studios, in 2004 Oshiro started working for Lissoni Associati until 2012, when he moved to London. Among his most successful creations, the Arabesque line and the Leplì collection designed in collaboration with the leading brand Poltrona Frau.
