Leplì Stool - Leather SC Bruno 78

Leplì, a three-piece collection designed by Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro for Poltrona Frau, combines dynamic functionality with refined aesthetics. The series is characterized by its sinuous lines and tailoring-inspired details. The padded stool, in particular, evokes the feminine silhouette, enhanced by an ornamental central band available in various colors.

The Leplì Stool is crafted with a structure made from birch plywood, solid beech wood uprights, and kraft cardboard infill panels. Its padding consists of polyurethane foam and polyester wadding for superior comfort. The base, made of poplar plywood with an MDF bottom, features a scratch-resistant black finish and protective felt pads.

This stool is available in two finishes: Pelle Frau® leather or fabric. In the fabric-upholstered version, the central band is offered in leather for a sophisticated touch. Comfortable and versatile, the Leplì Collection seamlessly complements any style.

Designed by Kensaku Oshiro

The Japanese designer Kensaku Oshiro was born in 1977, and graduated from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan at the end of the XXth century. After experiencing his talent in several studios, in 2004 Oshiro started working for Lissoni Associati until 2012, when he moved to London. Among his most successful creations, the Arabesque line and the Leplì collection designed in collaboration with the leading brand Poltrona Frau.
