The kitchen is a design microcosm in which many, many functions and as many needs coexist. It is an operational but also a convivial place where technology and beauty must go hand in hand to ensure a very high level of user experience. Because today we really ask our kitchens for the best both in terms of appliances and efficiency, and in terms of aesthetics and this applies not only to open-plan kitchens but also to independent kitchens, where we increasingly welcome our guests to share very accurate culinary and tasting experiences. And that is why we have chosen five projects of great depth, with attention to materials and formal details and designed to make us love the time we spend in a kitchen we can be proud of.

Principia  of Arclinea

Principia by Arclinea

Intimate and welcoming, the Principia kitchen by Arclinea combines family style and refinement, a refinement that can be read in the measured juxtaposition of the materials, and in the traditional and essential lines. In this project Antonio Citterio reinterprets the fundamentals of the kitchen, starting from the basics and then flying high with an impeccable combination of materials: the tactile presence of wood to warm the atmosphere, stainless steel for its practicality but also smoked glass for the container elements, so as to always know what is inside them, without creating visual confusion. The wooden snack top reflects a contemporary aesthetic but devoted to informal hospitality. And it is in these choices that we perceive a research that starts from the concrete needs of those who live the kitchen but do not want to give up style.

Air  by Lago

The Air kitchen by Lago (on the cover) represents a breath of deep innovation in the very idea of cooking and despite having been presented in 2016 it is very, very topical. The heart of his revolution lies in the table which is at the same time an induction hob: a table around which to live, work, cook and eat. Without forgetting the formal aspect, the Air table seems suspended because it rests on legs in extra-clear tempered glass. The concept of an island kitchen is taken to the extreme here, and the table is perfect in combination with the hood / chandelier and the kitchen system of Lago 36e8.

Phoenix  by Poliform

Phoenix by Poliform

The first feature of Phoenix that stands out is the exclusive style of the design, a design marked by rigorous, essential and decisive lines. But going to discover the project in depth, we discover the functional details inserted precisely to ensure a very high level of user experience. We have a small taste of it in the detailed image that reveals a well-equipped drawer. There are many possible configurations, in the image we see a very interesting example with the large operational area and the practical peninsula.

Vipp

Vipp kitchen

Vip is a deeply modular concept that features a single design, and four modular elements to configure. The approach is Nordic, characterized by extreme functionality and essentiality of the lines but also great style. Island, island with seats and snack top, wall elements and column elements are therefore the four modules to combine and choose in the three available colors: black, gray and white. An effective simplicity of configuration that is also reflected in the use, traditional and immediate.

Twenty  by Modulnova

Twenty by Modulnova

The LED integrated in the worktop is one of the exemplary details of the Twenty kitchen concept by Modulnova, made up of devices that are at the same time contributions of style and functionality. The recurring motif of thin thicknesses is another example of this combination of formal harmony and efficiency: the elements are less bulky and therefore give more space to tools and appliances but at the same time the thin lines give visual grace to a kitchen that is large and totally equipped.
