Carl Hansen celebrates Wegner with the CH24 WISHBONE CHAIR limited edition
The historical Danish brand, born in 1908, decided to reproduce the CH24 WISHBONE CHAIR limited edition in wood finishes of ancient oak for Hans J Wegner’s anniversary. The chair will be furnished with a brass plate engraved with Wegner’s signature, the celebrative date (April 2) and limited edition denomination.
A unique chair in its genre – with an elegant and charming design that show off the meeting point between Scandinavian shapes and eternal vintage. Lightweight and comfortable, CH24 represents the most known Wegner’s piece produced continuously since 1950.
The limited edition in ancient oak, such as the other Wegner’s wood pieces, shows unique features and polished materials coming from Danish forests that Scandinavian respect sustainability. For the back form of the backrest and the stringed seat with very durable and strong paper cables fits perfectly in each living room, the best ambient to enjoy its own practicality and comfort.
Wegner belongs to the Organism’s proponents, a modernist current that has characterized the production of many Scandinavian designers and represents a must in the world icon design. Wegner is considered such as one of the most creative and productive Danish designer of all time.
