Cassina 's 2020 collection focuses on the sleeping area. The bedroom becomes the protagonist of the new 2020 products, a place of rest, reflection and regeneration. A collection in which the company's icons meet the innovative projects of Patricia Urquiola and Rodolfo Dordoni, as well as a new collaboration with Neri & Hu.

Acute bed by Cassina

Designed as a small paradise inside the sleeping area, the Bio-mbo bed by Patricia Urquiola  is a small wellness paradise, with soft and welcoming shapes, which reinvents the concept of intimacy thanks to its distinctive and comfortable padded headboard. The Acute sleeping area by Rodolfo Dordoni  is a bed system full of accessories that stands out for the combination of different materials used in a skilful way, to create a sophisticated and complete system capable of furnishing the entire bedroom. Finally, the Shanghai Neri & Hu studio inaugurates the collaboration with Cassina by creating a collection of freestanding accessories for the sleeping area.

The renovation of the sleeping area also passes through the proposal of new night accessories and exclusive projects of curtains and plaids in partnership with Dedar and Society, to create an increasingly eclectic and versatile space.

The 2020 novelties also range in the living area. Patricia Urquiola 's Sengu Sofa is comfort at first sight and delicate design with simple geometries to rediscover a convivial dimension. The Mex-Hi system by Piero Lissoni  is modular and versatile, thanks to the variety of elements and configurations available.

Cassina also presents a new version of the iconic Duc sofa designed by Mario Bellini  in 1977 which celebrates the designer's 85th birthday. The sofa is an original project founded on the combination of cutting-edge materials and structural technology.

Cassina's focus on the re-editions of the Grand Masters of twentieth-century architecture continues and the range of new products in the LC Collection with Ico Parisi and Giacomo Balla is expanding.

Ico Parisi returns to the company's catalog with a collection of furnishings taken from the company's historical archive. Cassina thus rediscovers the roots of the culture of living in the 1950s. Ico Parisi, Sicilian by origin, architect, designer, graphic designer, photographer, film director, set designer and painter, was one of Cassina's top designers thanks to a long-term collaboration with the brand. Among the new products, the 875 armchair returns to the Cassina catalog, cozy, rigorous and elegant, the geometric console in solid wood PA '1947, the Olimpino table.

Thanks to the collaboration between Cassina and the heirs of Giacomo Balla, the futurist Balla screen was born with the original design with a strong artistic imprint. The Paravento Balla, part of the Cassina I Maestri Collection, bears the author's logo and signature as well as a progressive numbering.
