Camel, rope, turtledove: all shades of beige recall the earth. They are natural colors par excellence, elegant by vocation, but also relaxing and familiar. We resort to neutrals when we are looking for a minimal, classic, refined but not pretentious atmosphere. Of a spontaneous elegance that never raises its voice. These colors also have the power to bring out the quality of the yarns: linen, cashmere, cotton are stripped and can thus be appreciated in all their timeless beauty that is released in the environment in which they are placed. But not only: these chromatic solutions are suitable for both cold and warm seasons, both for town houses and for houses by the sea or in the countryside, both in the living area and in the sleeping area. A unique and precious versatility that has guided us in selecting some collections that the reference companies offer. A touch of immediate class that will last over time, to be experienced without delay, because it is true that bright colors can live moments of strong trend, but the success of neutral and material colors does not seem to blame the passage of time.

In the living room: refined textures and luxury yarns

Twine by Muuto

What are the most suitable and useful textile accessories in the living room? Certainly the cushions, which in a moment make the sofa more comfortable and complete, but also the plaids, as long as they are in refined yarns, beautiful to the touch and to the eye. A few examples? The Eames  plaid (on the cover) by Charles & Ray Eames  designed in 1947 and produced by Vitra : the pattern characterized by small circles was created on the occasion of an exhibition for the Moma in New York, the merino lamb's wool is jaquard woven and therefore reversible. A touch of class for those who love the history of design. The proposal by Muuto  is more informal but equally interesting: the rope-colored Twine  cushion is easily combined with any type of upholstery. It is made of baby lama wool, a light but particularly soft and warm wool that is sustainably worked in Bolivia. Even in the dining area the material colors can create ethereal and elegant mise en place, with an essential tablecloth but of the highest quality and right weight linen, such as that of the Bon  tablecloth by Society Limonta .

In the bedroom: small daily luxuries for our private oasis

Nathalie by Flou

The bedroom is our home temple: it is here that we rest and spend the most private moments of our day. This is why we can treat ourselves to small luxuries, such as cushions, sheets and throws of the highest quality. To begin with, let's not underestimate the importance of the sheets: Flou 's One (in the image on Nathalie's bed by the same company) is in cotton and silk, in the material shades of ecru. Alternatively, for those who prefer plain colors, the Smoking  line by Ivano Redaelli  whose name evokes the tailoring with which it is made of high quality cotton and pleasant to the touch. From the same company is Liz , the pure cashmere plaid with an informal but refined geometric motif. Finally, to make our bed even more comfortable and luxurious, let's treat ourselves to a handful of soft and warm pillows, such as Camel  and Camel Sheepskin , part of the Agnona collection for Giorgetti : the first in camel wool and the second in cashmere and sheepskin.
