vitra-nuageGeometric design is an evergreen trend. Brands are inspired by the rational shapes of circles, triangles, cylinders to enhance the project behind the object, with strict and essential lines. Geometric shapes are not only protagonists on the floors, but also on vertical surfaces, fabrics and other design creations, thanks to the fact that they can be easily matched with different styles of decor. The result is in fact modern but timeless, thanks to the choice of quality materials.

The review of ideas to introduce a little math in your interior design could only start from Quaderna collection by Zanotta; Superstudio signed it in 1970 and now the console is on display in major museums around the world. The secret to its success? A wooden structure covered with a laminate surface printed with a geometric pattern that reminds us of our arithmetic exercise books.

In our geometric design must-have list then comes a stylish and sophisticated dining table that stands out for its octagonal top, Plinto, designed by Andrea Parisio for Meridiani. In a delicate yet strong balancing act, the lightweight metal frame contrasts with the marble texture to produce a magnetic appeal.

The unadorned decoration of Visioni B, the carpet designed by Patricia Urquiola for CC-Tapis, make us think of a 3D environment in which we can sink, also thanks to the combination of multiple colors.

Lines are more rounded in Vitra's Nuage collection of vases, a pret à porter masterpiece designed by the Bouroullec brothers inspired by the potential of cylinders.
