The exhibition space of Vitra at Milan Design Week 2018 is organized in different ways: an overview of the Vitra Stories Collection, new products and  updated versions of design icons, signed by important designers such as: Charles and Ray Eames, Jasper Morrison and Maarten Van Severen.

An endless beauty piece able to summarize aesthetics and structural features: the Plate table, designed by Jasper Morrison, is elegant and functional.

The Fiberglass Chair by Charles and Ray Eames, launched in 1950, comes back to show again its revolutionary nature, due to the shell that is able to fit the shape of human body and  match with a variety of different bases.

Kartell continues to trust the unlimited fancy of Philippe Starck that got to find a wood manufacturing method, combining industrial production with artisanal experience. The Woody collection includes four chairs: Queenwood, Kingwood, Princewood and Princesswood.

The innovative technology allows to realize the shell, curving the wood. This is matched with legs and armrests in plastic, creating an original and emotional combination.

Among the plastic chairs presented at Milan Design week 2018, also signed by Starck, we can find: Catwalk and Cara. The first one integrates the high fashion paradox: on one hand the parades richness and fanciness, on the other hand a simple chair, conceived to magnify the haute couture beauty. The second one is an essential armchair born from a long technological research, joining elegance, lightness and comfort.
