Mohd meets Patricia Urquiola
On Friday 29th June the event The Other Conversation - "Mohd Meets Urquiola" took place in the Mohd showroom in Catania, an extraordinary meeting in which we talked about authentic design in a spontaneous and true way realized thanks to Cassina.
The charming Spanish architect and designer was told in an unusual way narrating episodes concerning the beginning of his Milanese activity and collaborations with two pillars of Italian design such as Vico Magistretti and Achille Castiglioni for which, on the anniversary of his birth, will take care of a major critical-interpretive exhibition at the Milan Triennale.
A story started from his meeting with Viyco Magistretti up to the days spent in the shop before and in the technical office after, with Maddalena De Padova. An absolute charge of charm and emotion that has literally enchanted all those present. An extraordinary ability to conquer the public from beginning to end.
We met a Patricia Urquiola from another point of view, a point of view in which the famous designer took on a unique "human" dimension that transmitted to the present not only creative but also and above all human and passionate greatness.
