The Cutrera dental clinic, in Gela, is a great example of formal cleanliness: aseptic surfaces and predominance of white colour characterize a 420 mq space in which hygiene and security come first. The project, signed by the architect Fabrizio Occhipinti Amato (Studio Occhipinti Amato, unconventional architecture) with the collaboration of Mohd for the interior design, was born from the union of two flats to accommodate big flows of patients and give them maximum comfort.

Space is intelligently organized, starting with an exclusive entrance directly leading to a waiting room, decorated with the Catifa 46 chairs by Arper. The space includes also a refined information desk, provided with a corian bench, and a colourful corner for children. In this environment you can find the two seats by Magis: playful Trotter with a hand-cart shape and original Trioli play-seat; the Attila, Napoleon and Saint-Esprit stools complete the scene.

Through a glass door it is possible to reach the operative area and different dental surgeries, five in total, a study, an administrative office, a RX room and two sterilisation areas provided with different coloured LEDs plans. Alternative perimetral route, true centre of the project, allows the staff to move across the different operative rooms without disturbing the patients, a strategic choice that aims to manage better the flow of people and speed the work.

Roomy environments, well-lighted by large windows, are separated by movable walls made of wood and glass fitting pleasantly in the dominant whiteness, a harmonious alternation of materials able to convey tranquillity and well-being.

Curved false ceilings represent an additional distinctive element of the project, giving life to interesting plays of light thanks to their modern and captivating shapes, increasing the light and expand the spaces.

Secondary entrance is another peculiarity of the clinic, thanks to it the staff can directly access to store, dressing room, laboratory and relaxing room in which we can find the Masters chairs, realized by Kartell.
