Perfect as a gift and to add a floral touch to the living, Nuage vases are the latest, brilliant idea of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra.

Nuage means "cloud" in French, and describes the profile of the vases seen from above, defined by eight tubular cavities joined together. The idea is based on a modular shelving system already developed by the Bouroullec brothers a few years ago for Cappellini, , put into production in 2004.

This time, however, they chose to use alumium, in a contemporary anodised finish available in various colors.

These vases for Vitra are simple but have a sculptural character. No coincidence that the Bouroullec chose them to celebrate Zaha Hadid, who died prematurely in March 2016, in a memorable installation at the Vitra campus in Weil am Rhein, Germany.
