Mamì is a table lamp designed by Umberto Asnago for Penta, with metal frame and glass diffusers.

Mamì is a collection of lamps that includes: suspension, table, wall and floor lamp; all with a design that gives the lamp a statuary look of great visual impact. The frame is available in polished black nickel metal or bronze, while the diffusers are blown glass white or amber. Mamì table is available in two different sizes the Large and the Small latter in the base has a compartment in american walnut.

Umberto Asnago has dedicated his whole professional life to the world of design, becoming one of the masters of its evolution, but always preserving his passion towards traditional manufacture and crafting. He was born in 1949 and graduated at the Istituto d’Arte in Cantù; his first field of expertise was solid wood, which he trained by working in local carpentries, and then as a planner for Giorgetti S.p.a. and director of the very same Giorgetti's Research Centre.
