The Medea chair, designed by Vittorio Nobili in 1956, is a masterpiece of elegance and formal ingenuity. Its sinuous and welcoming shell, characterised by a harmonious balance of solids and voids, won the Compasso d'Oro Honourable Mention, enhancing its refined aesthetics and ergonomic functionality.

In the Medea Mohair version, the iconic design is enriched with enveloping upholstery offering superior comfort, covered in fine Mohair wool velvet. The matt black lacquered iron legs, embellished with gold-coloured tips and fitted with non-slip rubber pads, add a touch of sophisticated sophistication.

The making of Medea is rooted in the handcrafted tradition of Brianza, where the company of the same name has been perfecting the processing of bent wood since the 1950s. Initially established for the production of television casings, it later made a name for itself in the world of furniture, giving rise to iconic creations of Italian design. Today, thanks to the collaboration with Dimorestudio, the original moulds of the Medea chair have been recovered and reinterpreted, keeping the purity of the design intact and enriching its aesthetic possibilities. The latest edition explores a wide range of finishes, from the finest wood essences to modern lacquers and exclusive textile upholstery.
