Molteni&C MHC.1 Chest of Drawers Designed by Werner Blaser

MHC. 1 is a refined chest of drawers designed by Werner Blaser for the Molteni&C brand, as part of the Heritage Collection re-make project, for the creation of the historical archive and of the Molteni Museum. The structure is made of a medium intensity fiber panel covered in honey-stained Emien milled wood. Drawers on wooden runners.

MHC. 1 is a reissue of the prototype of the first modern furnishing element produced by the Italian company. The chest of drawers designed by Wener Blaser won the first prize at the international competition held in Cantùin 1995, the 1st Selective exhibition, an award that relaunched the Molteni&C brand. After a first limited re-edition of only 100 numbered pieces, MHC.1 is now available in an unnumbered edition in the honey stained emien finish.
