The company was founded in 1825 in Biella, and for nearly two centuries produced entirely in Italy and at the same site. Imports from the United States system of rotational molding creates a revolution in Serralunga that, in 1959, introduces the injection molding of plastics, and in 1980 thanks to the industrial process for objects to use furniture, begins production in plastic jar handmade terracotta.
