A wonderful riedition of a classic. The Mini Coupè takes the original shape to a new revisited version, smaller and more adaptable to today's needs. The Coupé mini it's great for livings and offices, both on a desk or next to a sofa as a reading lamp. The lamp brings on a new intellectual thin concept of beauty, embraced by history and design. Within its 34 cm of height, this small lamp embodies all the harmony and the incredible design taste given by Joe Colombo. The designer in fact, began sketching these lamps in 1960 with the goal to match the aesthetic value to an intrinsic functionality, which was something new at the time. Nowadays this lamp is still considered as one of the must haves regarding lighting design, being exposed at he MoMA in New York and winner of the International Design Award in Chicago.

Joe Colombo (1930-1971) was one of the greatest Italian designers and architects. Although he died prematurely, his objects are well-known for their function, aesthetics and technological innovation yet with a contemporary design. Among his most famous achievements we find Boffi's Minikitchen, the Multi-Chair armchair and the Boby trolley for B-Line, the Fresnel, Globe and Coupé lamps for OLuce and the iconic Tube armchair designed for Cappellini. For his accomplishments, he received important awards such as the Compasso d'Oro Award (1967-1970) and won a Medagli d'Oro at the Milan Triennale (1963).
