Mini Glo-Ball Mirror Lamp
The Mini Glo-Ball by Flos, designed by Jasper Morrison, is a refined lighting element conceived for mirror applications. Defined by a minimalist ethos, this piece embodies an understated elegance that seamlessly adapts to contemporary interiors.
Distinguished by its softly diffused illumination, Mini Glo-Ball is crafted with a mouth-blown opaline glass diffuser, meticulously layered and finished with an acid-etched exterior. This artisanal technique lends the lamp a refined translucency, allowing for a balanced and ambient glow. The composition is completed by a precision-engineered threaded bezel in white PPS, created through injection molding. This detail ensures a secure and unobtrusive attachment to the mirror, emphasizing discretion and functionality in equal measure.
The design by Jasper Morrison manifests a pursuit of purity and quiet sophistication, mirroring his renowned approach to everyday objects—uncomplicated yet thoughtfully resolved. Offering a versatile solution for bathrooms, dressing areas, or private suites, Mini Glo-Ball introduces a soft visual accent while enhancing practical illumination for grooming rituals or relaxation. Its unobtrusive form factor makes it ideal for integrating into diverse interior concepts, from minimalist compositions to more eclectic arrangements. In spaces where light and reflection converge, Mini Glo-Ball Mirror stands as a subtle yet impactful design statement, harmonizing technical detail with aesthetic restraint.

Designed by Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959 and graduated in Design at Kingston Polytechnic Design School. In 1986 he set up a design office in London and begins to exhibit his work in many galleries and art fairs in Europe. He worked for Vitra, Cappellini, Flos, Alessi, Mattiazzi, Samsung, Sony and Olivetti. As he mentions "the best way to live with our objects is enable them to represent us and our way of being with ease, so that they cease to be a status symbol to become good friends." But his talent is also reflected in numerous publications and in urban projects, such as the Tram Hanover for which he won the IF Transportation Design Prize and the Ecology Award. The Jasper Morrison Ltd. now has headquarters in London and Paris.
