Moncloud is a sofa by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina. Circular design, light memory-effect padding, generous volumes and extreme comfort.

Moncloud is a sofa born with a circular design idea, in which disassemblability is almost 100%. Made without gluing, each element can be separated from the other, made of wood, nylon, steel frame and recycled Pet wadding padding. Sinuous, soft forms are the key to inspiring living. Moncloud gives the impression of sitting on a cloud, the visible seams sculpt the volumes and embellish the overall view. The curling of the seat cushion creates a unique detail.

Cassina is committed to making innovative products with less impact thanks to the new material, Circularrefoam, a polyurethane foam that becomes a new resource at the end of its life.

Patricia Urquiola, Spanish designer and architect, is among the most brilliant female personalities of the contemporary design panorama. In 2001 she founded the Patricia Urquiola Studio with Alberto Zontone, dealing with product design, architecture, artistic direction and strategic consultancy. The core of her style is a fundamental principle: conceiving spaces or objects in relation to people. This approach is reflected in all of her works, considered to be design masterpieces: from the Fjord and Lilo sofas by Moroso, to the Husk and Crinoline seats and the Bend Sofa by B&B Italia; from the T-Table by Kartell to the Salinas kitchen by Boffi, just to mention a few.
