Moro Poltrona produced by La Manufacture is a cozy softly shaped seat created by designer Sebastian Herkner.

Moro Poltrona's name comes from a famous Venetian Doge, its shape from castanets: everything in Moro Poltrona's line speaks of historical echoes and luxurious interiors. Perfect for recreating an unforgettable warm and cozy atmosphere, this armchair consists of a single rounded volume, like a shell designed to make the user feel safe wrapped in comfort. The design is low and wide, with solid feet that blend with an enveloping backrest.

Armchair fully upholstered in sheepskin leather. Base and seat frame of rigid polyurethane, backrest of flexible polyurethane.

Designed by Sebastian Herkner

A curious and diligent student of the University of Offenbach for the Arts and Design, Sebastian Herkner fell in love with new technologies combined with traditional craftsmanship. On this way, he develops a deep interest into materials, colors, textures and his care is visible in any detail. In 2006 he founds a studio in Offenbach and begins important collaborations with companies such as Moroso and ClassiCon. Herkner stands out for interesting interior design projects, exhibitions and museums, and his talent is rewarded with awards such as the German Design Award in 2011.
