111 Navy Chair
111 Navy Chair is an iconic chair produced by the brand Emeco.
New characteristics for the historic Navy Chair, the chair of the U.S. Navy became a design icon of the late twentieth century. Emeco's historic manufacturing company, has given up the aluminum as a material of choice but to divert the use of recycled materials, in collaboration with Coca-Cola. Chair composed of 60% of recycled polyethylene, obtained from 111 PET bottles Coke and bound together by a mix (created with BASF) made by a special combination of pigments coupled with glass fiber. Navy is an ecological product that meets the standards, LEED / tm. It is a tireless and unbreakable chair whose life expectancy is estimated to be 150 years old.
