Henge Oneon Kitchen Island Designed by Massimo Castagna

Designed by Massimo Castagna for Henge, the Oneon kitchen stands out for its linear clarity and precision in detail. The island, central to the layout, features a matte Ice Onyx surface, a stone that conveys both depth and material coherence. Subtle tonal shifts in the finish interact with metal accents and marble tops, establishing a considered balance between solids and voids, matte and reflective surfaces.

The Oneon kitchen is compatible with Bora and Gaggenau cooktops, incorporating advanced functions into a layout tailored for the contemporary home. Drawers in solid wood—available in Thermo Oak or Swamp Ash—include a soft-close electric mechanism. The 2 cm black plywood carcasses are paired with a plinth in stainless steel or burnished titanium.

The system includes a full set of accessories: metal trays, cutlery inserts, drainage grids, cutting boards, leather mats, and stainless steel bins. Each component is designed for function without compromising on visual order. Oneon conceives the kitchen as an integrated space where materials, proportions, and technique define a solid, structured, and purposeful environment.
