The design features a lacquered steel frame supporting a transparent glass top and a secondary surface available in multiple finishes ranging from matte velvet-effect glass to SuperMarble and SuperCeramic. The dual-plane construction adds depth without visual weight, encouraging interaction between materials and light. Its graphic silhouette and modular finishes suit both minimal domestic interiors and refined contract spaces, where form and function are held in equal measure. The elevated lower shelf enhances usability while maintaining visual openness.

Toshiyuki Yoshino brings a cross-cultural perspective shaped by Japanese design traditions and Italian manufacturing sensibilities. Pagoda reflects influences from architectural layering and modular structures, evident in the table’s name and configuration. Developed in collaboration with Bontempi, the piece echoes the brand’s commitment to material innovation and structural experimentation, a direction cultivated since its transformation from Mobilfer in the 1960s.
