The Palissade armchair cushion is part of the large family of outdoor elements designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Hay brand.

Palissade is an international hit, the minimalist square armchair cushion is comfortable and practical. The cushion is covered in water-resistant Olefin Teflon fabric. The non-slip recycled PET backing with bio-based natural rubber coating (black) and 30 mm (1.18 in.) polyurethane foam filling also ensures that the seat cushion stays firmly in place regardless of movement.

Protect from direct sunlight when not in use. The color may fade if exposed to direct sunlight and weather for a long period. Store in a dry place.

Born respectively in 1971 and 1976, they both graduated in Art and founded their own studio at the end of the 90s. Unity makes strenght - their Cuisine Déstructurée caught Giulio Cappellini's eye, so they received the first industrial design commissions and went on to impose themselves on the international scene thanks to a collaboration with Vitra. Bouroullec brothers work for some of the most important international design brands, such as Ligne Roset, Flos, Magis and Mattiazzi and are able to join essential shapes with innovative materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing - this allowed them to win, among other prizes, the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Award 2016 in the category "Best Designers of the Year".
