Petalo is an outdoor armchair designed by Vincent Van Duysen and produced by the brand Molteni&C. Structure in Merlot red painted aluminum. Woven in ecru colored rope. Petalo is available in two versions, with low or high backrest. Cushion covers suitable for outdoor use.

The Belgian designer introduces in the Outdoor Timeout collection by Molteni&C. the Petalo armchair and pouf, characterized by soft curves and an enveloping design. Made of recyclable aluminum for the bases and polypropylene fibre for the woven backrest, these elements offer attractive aesthetics and weather resistance. The armchair offers several cushion options to suit different ergonomic preferences, while the ottoman adds further comfort and integrates harmoniously with the armchair. Petalo combines design, comfort and sustainability, embodying Molteni&C's vision for outdoor spaces.

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen was born in Lokeren, Belgium, in 1962. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture of Sint-Lucas in Ghent, he immediately began his career working with Aldo Cibic in Milan, and later with Jean De Meulder in Antwerp. In 1990 he founded his first studio. In 2016 he was appointed art director of the Italian brands Molteni & C and Dada, in 2018 he was a creative director of Sahco for Kvadrat, and he also collaborated with Serax, B&B Italia and Flos.
