Pipistrello Table/Floor Lamp
Pipistrello is an iconic lamp conceived by Gae Aulenti in 1965 for Martinelli Luce. Its design resembles the shape of the wings of a bat, and it is available in several models and color finishes.

This wonderful creation by Gae Aulenti is perfect both as a table and a floor lamp, and it seems to be caught at the moment before the complete spreading of the wings of a bat. From 1965 to today, the Pipistrello lamp by Gae Aulenti still retains its original emotional and stylistic charge, rich in humor, grace, dynamism and elegance. Its delicate, soft and curved figure has made it a timeless classic: a glazed stainless steel telescope and a white opal methacrylate diffuser take up the silhouette of a nocturnal and mysterious animal in a totally graceful and unusual way.
