The idea of this collection of lamps came while the designer walking around La Escala, He noticed one of those typical industrial-looking wall lamps with the bulb visible and protected with a transparent glass. Not that it was a novelty or a discovery, He would say that we all have it in mind and that it is as old as incandescent bulbs; simple shapes, shapes that comfort us, shapes that are familiar to us and that make us travel through time.

Christophe Mathieu is a brilliant and energetic designer, always open to change. His artistic flair was unveiled during his childhood: when he was 8 years old, he used to visit a carpentry near his house, asking for leftovers from the cut wood to experiment and make something new with it. This creativity is reflected in his wonderful lighting design pieces. In 2008 he conceived for Marset the Discocó lamp, that has become a great successful product in short time.
