Foscarini PLI Suspension Lamp Designed by Felicia Arvid

PLI is a pendant lamp designed by Felicia Arvid and produced by the brand Foscarini. 

In PLI the material is the absolute star of the lamp.

Pli is the first lamp created by Felicia Arvid, a young Danish designer. In this lamp, the light source acts as a supporting structure, holding in place a series of soft draperies, which the designer focuses on, using materials as if they were fabrics. The light source is an LED strip placed inside a tube, which radiates a gentle, non-invasive light, enhancing the three-dimensional shapes of the structure. The lamp is available in wood or paper with different lighting effects: the wooden version will project the light upwards and downwards, restricting the horizontal diffusion, which will be more accentuated in the paper version, due to its translucence. Ideal for hotels, offices, or dining rooms, PLY will add elegance and style to any environment.
