Port is an elegant lamp collection created by designer Tom Fereday and produced by the famous brand Rakumba Lighting. The collection consists of wall and table lamps.
Evoking natural spiral forms, from botanical to nautical, designer Tom Fereday also draws on Rakumba's heritage of textile craftsmanship to create the Port collection. Fereday challenges the skills he has honed over time with new lampshade designs that were previously considered almost impossible. Employing Rakumba's design ethos of "effortless complexity", he pushes craftsmanship to its limits, offering a contemporary and distinct element.

Designed by Tom Fereday
Born in Australia, designer Tom Fereday grew up in London, where he studied sculpture and graphic design at the Wimbledon School of Art. Later, he returned to his native country and studied industrial design at the University of Technology in Sydney. He is particularly fascinated by the tension that lies between natural materials and contemporary design and manufacture. From furniture to lighting, all his designs are the result of an intrinsic investigation into the role of objects nowadays.
