The President M round table by Baleri Italia, designed by Philippe Starck for François Mitterrand’s private office at the Élysée Palace, represents an elegant contrast between lightness and density.

The President M table stands out for its innovative concept: composed of only three disassemblable structural parts, it offers a sophisticated and sustainable furnishing solution. The frame, available in metallic silver or matte black, is made from steel tubing and epoxy powder-coated aluminum castings. Its three-legged base evokes imagery of shark fins and angel wings, manifesting biomorphic forms that combine aesthetics and functionality.

The 15 mm-thick transparent tempered glass top appears to float above the base, imparting a sense of lightness and transparency to the space. Its versatile dimensions allow the President M to fit elegantly into both residential and upscale office settings, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and refinement.
