Proust Geometrica armchair by Alessandro Mendini, romantic design and baroque, is based on the original design of the Proust Chair of 1978. Year 2009 for the brand Cappellini. After 30 years, the Proust Chair has become a chair of mass production through Cappellini, the artwork becomes a perfect product Industrial style "Pop", just as they wished Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. Structure in solid beech wood carved and hand painted, polyurethane foam and cotton lining. Feet in transparent plastic.

Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019) was one of the great italian designers, architects and artists of postmodern design between the ‘60s and ‘70s. His revolutionary, visionary and ironic style is concretized in artworks destined to become real design icons. Among them, the Proust armchair for Magis, a work of Re-Design characterized by a romantic, baroque and distinctly ludic style and the world-famous Anna G. bottle openers for Alessi, for which he also was meta-project consultant.
