To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Radiofonografo, the Brionvega brand presents a unique limited edition signed by renowned designers Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. This iconic stereo system has been a pioneer in design since 1965.

Handcrafted in Italy, this radiofonografo continues to enchant artists and designers of every generation thanks to its universal language and timeless design. In 2025, this iconic creation is revisited with a contemporary touch thanks to the collaboration with Elena Salmistraro, who has emphasised its lines with a refined colour palette. The new green colour, symbolic and ambivalent, infuses the Radiofonografo with a vital energy, evocative of nature and hope.

The design intervention also includes significant stylistic updates. The base, originally with chrome finishes, is transformed into a monolithic matt black structure, adding a touch of solidity and modernity that enhances the contrast with the light surfaces of the smoked turntable. Each of the sixty pieces, numbered and produced with extreme attention to detail, bears witness to the inseparable link between Brionvega and innovative design.

The brothers Achille (1918-2002) and Pier Giacomo (1913-1968) Castiglioni are among the masters of Italian and worldwide design. Both graduated in Architecture at Politecnico in Milan, since 1994 they launched their studio in Piazza Castello with brother Livio, where they work in the field of urbanistic design, architecture and product design until 1968. Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni are famous for their design able to interpret the audience's needs, putting the attention on deep research in shapes, techniques and new materials. Their talent and creative genius brought them to win international awards among which nine Compassi d'Oro for Achille and five for Pier Giacomo. The two brothers carry out a vary and intense professional activity focused principally on the Industrial Design, and together they actively participate in the international cultural life. Their works range from furniture to lighting and they are considered timeless design icons, still appreciated for their beauty and elegance. Among these we have Toio lamp, Taccia, Snoopy and the celeb Arco realized by Flos; Sanluca armchair designed by Poltrona Frau and many other famous projects.
