Gloster Rail Dining Table

The Rail dining table was created within the design house Gloster, with the intention of exploring a linear and continuous design language. The name suggests a precise visual path, made up of directions that chase and meet, evoking a sense of connection between present and memory. Rail is a reflection on movement, not only physical but also formal, in which proportion and material become narrative tools.

The structure is made of selected teak, carefully handcrafted to maintain the material's integrity and enhance its natural rendering. Gloster entrusts the identity of the entire project to the precision of the details: the slightly bevelled radii lighten the overall geometry, while the joining elements, hidden from view, return a visually clean image. The ceramic top, resistant and calibrated in its finish, completes the table with a functional and harmonious surface.

Proposed in two length variants, 240 cm and 290 cm, Rail fits casually into different contexts, dialoguing with the Gloster seats through a material and formal coherence. A solid project, designed to last, which focuses on the experience of use and the value of construction.
