Jov Row Rug

Row Rug by the Jov brand is a work made by John Pawson, a designer who has promoted a rigorous and simple style in architecture for over thirty years, dealing with the fundamentals in a sober, essential way.

A special fibre, the alpaca, has been used for the manufacturing of the Row Rug. The rhythmic, geometric and regular composition aims to enhance the purity of the raw material in all its natural shades. In the shearing stage indeed, this wool has been selected because of its colour and there was no need to dye it. It was instead chosen to enhance the natural colour of these beautiful creatures. Each panel, placed next to one another, is framed by a soft base in Merino wool and wool from New Zealand. The quality workmanship of the hand-woven embroidery lets you enjoy the texture of the weaving that perfectly blends with the even graphic and spaced patterns.
