Designed by Enzo Calabrese

Architect and industrial designer Enzo Calabrese was born in Brindisi, Italy, in 1961. Today he lives and works in Pescara, at kei_en.enzocalabresestudio, founded in 1998 by Calabrese, where he deals with architecture and design. His creations for Davide Groppi are highly renowned: Sampei, splendid floor lamps with a slender and refined, almost poetic shape, considered an international success.

Davide Groppi doesn’t furnish with the lamp, but with the light. Projects as Nulla, Infinito, Pablo and Meridiana perfectly express that. These lamps seem a shade, seem invisible, in order to emphasise the light, that is the real protagonist. Although the leitmotif of its collections is the perfect fusion between technology and design, Davide Groppi always amazes us. The newest ChainDelier (Euroluce 2019) is one of the best examples, a golden chain that, with linear ostentation, illuminates with knowledge and furnishes with good taste.
