Shiva Vase, designed by Ettore Sottsass for BD Barcelona, emerges as a tangible manifestation of Italian Radical Design, a courageous and rebellious movement of the 1970s. In this version, it presents a limited edition in collaboration with Capsule Global magazine.

Designed during a love trip to Barcelona in 1971, Shiva embodies in its design the essence and vision of this bold period in design history. The result is an object that ingeniously defies convention in a modern interpretation of the phallic form of the linga, a symbol of the Indian deity Shiva, by which the designer was struck during one of his trips to India. In honor of this bold aesthetic, Capsule Global partnered with BD to create this special edition of the Shiva vase. The distinctive bright glaze in Blue reveals the clean symmetry of the design, adding a touch of vibrant color that confronts the vase's recognizable and cherished form.
