BD Barcelona Design Showtime Chair - Swivel Base with Castors Designed by Jaime Hayon

The Showtime Chair by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona marked a milestone in the designer’s career when, in 2017, it became his first chair produced internationally. Quickly embraced as a key piece of the Showtime collection, it now returns in a revised edition with softer lines, a simplified structure, and a renewed palette of finishes.

The seat is crafted in beech plywood, natural or stained, with non-removable polyurethane foam padding upholstered in BD’s textiles and leathers. The backrest comes in two versions, low or high, either in plain plywood or with an integrated upholstered cushion.

The base system extends versatility: swivel in tubular iron and die-cast aluminium, available also with casters, or a fixed four-leg frame. All versions are offered in three powder-coated colours: Dark Brown RAL 8019, Bluish Grey RAL 5008, and Beige RAL 1015.
