Silent Field is a suspension lamp designed by the designers Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Laura Pessoni and produced by the prestigious Italian company, leader in the lighting sector Artemide. Lamp available in different and elegant color finishes and produced in PET and technopolymer.
Suspended luminaire with sound-absorbing properties: thanks to the characteristics of the material and the geometry, the reverberation time is reduced. The sound absorption effect is optimal compared to the frequencies of human speech. The different density of the material that makes up the lower panel contributes to the absorption of different frequencies. Both the upper and lower surface of the device have acoustic properties, correct positioning in the space is crucial for optimizing sound absorption.
