Bonaldo Sloan Coffee Table Designed by Massimo Castagna

The Bonaldo Sloan table top, designed by Massimo Castagna, interprets the monolith theme through a single volume in which top and base merge without visual interruption. The oval shape of the top emerges directly from the solid and compact base, generating a plastic continuity that is accentuated by a slight misalignment between the two parts. The beveled edge helps to make the profile more fluid, accompanying the perception of a single, coherent body.

Made of high-density polyurethane with a cement finish, in the shade mineral white, Sloan is distinguished by a material and vibrant surface, crossed by micro-variations that interact with light and enhance its three-dimensionality. This material choice reinforces the sculptural character of the design, bringing it closer to the language of contemporary architecture.

Presented at the Salone del Mobile 2026, the Sloan design table is configured as a compact and sculptural element, designed for environments that favor the strength of the sign and the purity of volumes, transforming a piece of furniture into an essential architectural presence.
