Sophia Blue Beige by Serax interprets the pasta plate as an expressive surface, where pictorial gesture and form coexist naturally. Signed by Marie Michielssen, the Sophia collection brings to the table an instinctive language, far from seriality, capable of enhancing the moment of the daily meal.

Each plate is hand-painted and features different patterns, making each element unrepeatable. The beige background, warm and textured, accommodates bold and fluid blue marks, traced with a free rhythm reminiscent of oriental calligraphy. The slight irregularities of the surface and decoration tell of the manual process, letting an authentic, lived-in presence emerge.

The shape is defined by a high rim designed to hold pastas, soups and richly seasoned preparations while maintaining visual order and practicality at the table.
