Antoniolupi Specchidicarta Mirror Designed by Gumdesign

Specchidicarta is the collection of mirrors designed by Gumdesign and produced by Antoniolupi. A mirror that folds like a sheet, creating an innovative, unique and inimitable image.

The Specchidicarta collection is characterised by new shapes that recall the images of the origami, marked by the contrast between the reflective surface and the black lacquered crease. The crease outlines the boundary between the lack and depth of space and at the same time it marks the movement. The mirror thus becomes an integral part of the wall, which tears off creating a black space, apparently empty, as if you could see past it. An object that borders between reality and imagination, placing the reflected image on the boundary between what we perceive as reality and what we imagine.
