In 1984, Achille Castiglioni created for Flos a floor lamp, with modern design, an adjustable light suitable for any environment and situation.

Stylos is characterized by a steel base coated with PMMA, which provides indirect light which spreads both from the bottom, both from the top. Stylos is a lamp inside appreciated by those with an inclination towards a kind of modern lighting and essential.

Designed by Achille Castiglioni

Achille Castiglioni, an unforgettable name in the history of Italian design. Designer, architect and son of the famous sculptor Giannino, he incorporated in his works the "plastic" approach of his father. His life was also shaped by the collaboration with his brother, Pier Giacomo. Experimenting with forms, techniques and materials, the Castiglioni brothers created the iconic Snoopy, Taccia, Toio and Arco lamps for Flos, the Mezzadro stool for Zanotta and the Sanluca armchair for Poltrona Frau.
